Our Funding:
We recieve in support two millages of .4173 and .5000 which generates $509,000.00 down from $510,000.00 in 2012, $535,000.00 in 2011 and $595,000.00 in 2010. Our Total revenue for 2013 is $621,546.00.
The Collection and Circulation:
We have 76,000 items, this includes 152 magazine subscriptions, 4,713 audio, 5,308 video/DVD and 8 online databases. We circulated over 157,814 items (including 4,753 eBook checkouts). We inter-loaned (borrowed) 8,714 items from other libraries and loaned out 28,044 items to area libraries.
Public Service Stats:
-Over 58,000 people visited the library in 2012. Over 5,600 residents have library cards.
-We offered 144 programs with over 5,113 children, teens and adults in attendance.
-Patrons asked 3,867 reference questions.
Technology:
We have 12 public internet access computers, three online card catalogs and two early literacy computers for children. Public internet sessions numbers 5,728. The library website was visited 65,141 times.
Staffing:
We have a staff of sixteen with six full-time and ten part-time employees.
