Red Wings for Reading

Students in grades K-5 have the chance to win 2 tickets to see the Detroit Red Wings play on Saturday, March 16, 2019!

Read 3 books recommended for your grade level (some were selected by Alternate Captain Justin Abdelkader) and submit an online entry form with the help of a guardian by Thursday, January 31, 2019.

Reading logs and books are available in the library.  The first 2500 student to enter will win an official Red Wings for Reading Fan Pack.

Join us for an evening of inspiration as Irene Miller talks about her family’s dangerous journey out of Poland during WWII and their treacherous search for safety.

Irene has detailed this courageous true story in the book, “Into No Man’s Land” and it will be on sale for $15.00 ($17.00 by credit card).

Irene has spoken at many venues,
including the Holocaust Memorial Center
in Farmington, schools, libraries and
a variety of clubs and organizations.

No registration is necessary.
