Preschool & Child Care Open House

When:   Monday, March 29, 2010

              6:30-8:00 PM

Where: Springfield Township Library

Come join our third annual open house that highlights child care and preschool facilities throughout the community.  Staff from area child care programs will be on hand to offer information and answer questions regarding their programs.  This is a free service for all parents and everyone is welcome to attend the open-house format to gather information.

Storytimes!

Registration begins Monday, January 4, 2010

Activities include stories, finger plays, music, crafts* and fun.

Pre-registration is required.  Please see the circulation desk to register.

 

Toddler Time- Mondays, 10:30-11:00

For ages 20 months to 3 years and caregiver.  This storytime meets on the following dates: Jan. 11, 25, Feb. 1, 22, March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, April 12.

 

On My Own- Thursdays, 10:30-11:45

Ages 4 & 5 (not yet in kindergarten). *SEE NOTE BELOW

*NOTE- Due to low enrollment, the 3's & Moms Storytime and the On My Own Storytimes have been combined and will meet from 10:30-11:15 on the following dates:

Jan. 21, 28, Feb. 4, 25, March 4, 11, 18, 25, April 15, 22

When attending library programs, keep in mind that they begin promptly at the advertised time.  Latecomers will not be able to attend on that day.

Here are some fun activities you can do with your children at the library:


-Put together a puzzle

-Read books or magazines

-Play on one of the children's computers (loaded with fun learning games)

-Play at the lego block table

-Play on the wooden choo-choo train (for younger children)

-Play with a leap pad kit
